If you are based in the West Midlands, believe that solar and retrofit is improtant and understand the value of a non-profit approach.

Then we want you! 

For younger folks, our volunteering is a developmental tool aimed at people that want to get into the industry. In exchange for your time and energy we will create an enviroment where you get to learn and pratice the nessiasy skills to be employable in this industry. If we really get on well, we will include your paid time in bids and business developement moving forward.

For older folks, we aim to create the most arrticative place to give limited volunteer hours. We aim to deliver the best impact/hour worked so you feel with CEB your voulnteering goes the furthest.

Solar and Storage Team

This team is responsible for growing the panels and batteries that are community owned and interest earning. We do this so we can charge batteries with clean kilowatts and discharge them onto the grid during peak times reducing the need for dirty gas fired kilowatts.

KPI watchers - Monititoing Development Team 

To retrofit homes so they no longer need to burn CO2 emitting gas, we need better data!

We need a small affordable, buildable in-house hardware unit capturing and relaying data on internal temp, humidity and CO2. With this data we can better understand/prove the impact of retrofit investments on the quality of life of residents.

We need a software using platform integrations to pull live client data on gas and electrical consumption in addition to data from online sources like outdoor temp, humidity, grid CO2 intensity, tariff prices and compare them.

Operations Coordinator Team

When was I meant to get this to the customer? Where was I meant to be next week? How can I best use my time?

Practical Retrofit Skills Team

We can talk until the climate induced death of the planet, it's action that matters. Physically changing the fabric of homes to allow for off gassing, better health, lower prices, more comfort is what this team does. This entails learning how to insulate a loft space and doing it. Then learning how to insulate solid walls internally and doing it. Then learning how to proper insulate floors and doing it. You will be part of making the change you want to see.
